The MROP program was set up for an owner to access several resorts and several weeks. Originally they were sold in 4 week packages. You could use one week per season, 4 times per year. Two weeks were Red, one was White, and one was Blue.

If you buy the weeks separately, they still rotate per season. If the first year the week is Red, the next year it will be White and the next Blue, and by the 4th year you rotate back to Red. The weeks are floating and this Red, White, and Blue season only applies to the ORE seasonal chart. The ORE seasons are different than the RCI seasons, therefore you can use some Blue ORE as the Red RCI, which means that you should be able to get a Red week every year in either the ORE or RCI exchange.

It's recommended that you schedule your MROP through ORE during their annual scheduling period in the month of May every year. A form is sent to you to be filled out and returned. You will receive a confirmation of your scheduled week in the month of July. If you wish to bypass the annual scheduling period and not schedule at that time, you may do so and schedule later. However, your scheduling will then be subject to availability only and your chances of getting what you want are slimmer. You must schedule your week before you can bank it in the RCI exchange.

MROP is a right-to-use program and a limited partnership holds the deed. When you buy you will receive a certificate in the limited partnership.
